It's so lovely and mysterious, and I love it very much. Plus, it's very important that we have our own independent states, different from the US , which is moving further away from us every day. I became interested in the Russian language while I was still an infant. My mom is from Kazakhstan, so I learned to speak Kazakh at home. Also, my aunt who lives in Russia would often visit us, and she always carried some books for children with her. One of them was "Chugunnyj Kek" (The Funny Duck) by V. Yablokov. It tells about a duck who lived in Leningrad (now St Petersburg). It seems that other animals were trying to speak like the people living in their city, but he did not understand them because he did not live there. In 1999, I moved to Russia from Kazakhstan with my father and my younger sister. For many years, we lived in Novosibirsk (Russia) and then we moved to Irkutsk. We lived there for 7 months before we were ready to move to Siberia. During our first year of living in Irkutsk, I didn't speak Russian at all. It wasn't until my new friends started speaking about life in Siberia (it's very different from the rest of Russia) that I decided I wanted to live here. My dad was a translator at that time, and he worked at an international school. I took part in all of the events that were organized there. That same year, I also joined the theater club called "Kokhana". This is where I gained my first real-life experiences in acting. At the time, it seemed strange to me that all of my friends were interested in other things besides theatre. We regularly attended drama festivals and contests though, so I continued thinking about it. It wasn't until high school when I decided to become a professional actress. As you can see, my interest in the language isn't only related to studying but also to following my other hobbies as well. cfa1e77820
